การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา พัฒนาระบบติดตามและประเมินผลการพัฒนาศักยภาพผู้สูงอายุก่อนเข้าทำงานผ่านระบบอินเทอร์เน็ต ซึ่งจะเป็นฐานข้อมูลแรงงานสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในวัย 60 ปีขึ้นไป สำหรับผู้มีภูมิลำเนาทะเบียนบ้านในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี โดยจะมีอายุเฉลี่ยทั้งเพศชายและเพศหญิง โดยการทดสอบครั้งนี้เป็นการสุ่มประชากร สำหรับผู้สูงอายุผู้ชายโดยมีอายุค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ที่ 69 ปี และอายุผู้หญิงอยู่ที่ 70 ปี จำนวน 91 คน ในการสุ่มอำเภอทั้งสิ้น 25 อำเภอ ในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี เพื่อทดสอบสมรรถภาพก่อนทำงานและเพื่อส่งข้อมูลผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพแข็งแรง ให้กับนายจ้างที่ต้องการให้เหมาะสมกับงาน ซึ่งผู้สูงอายุส่วนมากยังมีสภาพร่างกายที่พร้อมทำงานเหมือนคนวัยหนุ่มสาว โครงการวิจัยนี้มุ่งเน้นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ

จากผลการทดลอบสมรรถภาพ พบว่าผู้สูงอายุที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 60-94 ปี สำหรับประชากรที่มีทะเบียนบ้านในเขตจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี มีโรคประจำตัว ทำให้มีผลต่อการมีงานทำ เพศชาย จำนวน 17 คน เพศหญิง จำนวน 27 คน และสำหรับประชากรที่ไม่มีโรคประจำตัว เป็นเพศชาย จำนวน 20 คน และเพศหญิง 23 คน

ผลการวิเคราะห์ประเมินความพึงพอใจสำหรับประสิทธิภาพระบบติดตามสุขภาพและประเมินผลการพัฒนาศักยภาพผู้สูงอายุก่อนเข้าทำงาน โดยภาพรวมแล้วมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก( X - 4.46) อยู่ในระดับความพึงพอใจระดับมาก

จากโครงการวิจัยครั้งนี้จะทำให้ผู้สูงอายุได้มีโอกาสมีงานทำ และผู้ประกอบการสามารถได้แรงงานในราคาถูกและมีคุณภาพ โดยผ่านกรมแรงงานจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี หรือผู้ประกอบการติดต่อโดยตรงมายังผู้สูงอายุที่มีคุณสมบัติตามต้องการ
