การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนา ภูมิปัญญาการใช้ประโยชน์จากไผ่ของชาวบรูบ้านท่าล้งอําเภอโขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี 2) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนานวัตกรรมจากการใช้ประโยชน์จากไผ่ของชาวบรูบ้านท่าล้งอําเภอ โขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี 3) เพื่อจัดทําหนังสือชุดความรู้ภูมิปัญญาเครื่องจักสานท้องถิ่นไทยบรู บ้านท่าล้งอําเภอโขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี และ 4) เพื่อสร้างนวัตกรรมจากไผ่ของชาวบรูให้มีความ หลากหลายเพื่อวางจําหน่ายในชุมชนและเป็นสินค้าที่ระลึกให้กับนักท่องเที่ยว การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัย ชุมชนซึ่งผู้วิจัยได้บรูณาการระเบียบวิธีวิจัยของศาสตร์ทั้ง 3 สาขามาประยุกต์ใช้ในการวิจัย อันได้แก่ 1) การศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ 2) การวิจัยแบบมีส่วนร่วม และ3) การวิจัยทางคติชนวิทยา ซึ่งผู้วิจัยเลือกใช้ เครื่องมือในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก 2) แบบสอบถาม 3) แบบบันทึกการสังเกตแบบมี ส่วนร่วม 4) แบบบันทึกการสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม (Non Participant Observation)เพื่อเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัย คือ ปราชญ์ชาวบ้าน ผู้นําชุมชน ชาวบ้าน สมาชิกกลุ่มจักสานและเสื่อเตย

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ด้านสถานภาพของเครื่องจักสานไทยบรูในชุมชน ผู้วิจัยพบว่า สถานภาพ ของเครื่องจักสานในยุคดั้งเดิมมีประวัติความเป็นมา จากการสืบทอดภูมิปัญญาจากบรรพชน โดยเฉพาะ ภูมิปัญญาการสร้างสรรค์เครื่องจักสานที่สร้างสรรค์ขึ้นมาเพื่อใช้ในครัวเรือน และภายหลัง เมื่อมี หน่วยงานจากภายนอกและองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น เข้ามากระตุ้นให้มีการรวมกลุ่มกัน เพื่อ สร้างสรรค์เครื่องจักสานให้เป็นระบบมากยิ่งขึ้น ด้านภูมิปัญญาหัตถกรรมพื้นถิ่นกับการสร้างรายได้ใน ชุมชน พบว่ามีเครื่องจักสานที่ได้รับการสร้างสรรค์ภายใต้แนวคิด เศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์เพื่อการพัฒนาทุน ทางวัฒนธรรมและการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว จากกระบวนการวิจัย พบ 2 กลุ่ม คือ ผลิตภัณฑ์จากไผ่ และผลิตภัณฑ์จากเตย ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์เหล่านี้ได้รับการออกแบบและการสร้างสรรค์ภายใต้แนวคิดการ เปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรมให้กลายเป็นสินค้า ด้านกระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนาภูมิปัญญาการ ใช้ประโยชน์จากไผ่ของชาวบรูบ้านท่าล้งอําเภอโขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี นั้น ผู้วิจัยพบว่า กระบวนการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในโครงการวิจัยนี้ผู้วิจัยพบว่า ชุมชนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมใน 6 ลักษณะ คือ การสํารวจข้อมูลภูมิปัญญาการใช้ประโยชน์จากไผ่ในชุมชนไทบรูบ้านท่าล้ง การจัดเวทีชุมชนเพื่อระดมความคิดเห็น การจัดอบรบให้กับคนในชุมชน การร่วมกับชุมชนในการผลิตนวัตกรรมจากไผ่เครื่องจักสานไทยบรู ด้านแนวทางการพัฒนานวัตกรรมจากการใช้ประโยชน์จากไผ่ พบ 3 ลักษณะ คือ 1) แนวทางในการศึกษากระบวนการการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาเครื่องจักสานไทยบรูให้มีความสวยงาม2) แนวทางการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชนในการพัฒนาเครื่องจักสานไทยบรูสู่นวัตกรรมเครื่องจักสาน และ 3) เชิญผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมาให้คําแนะนําในการพัฒนานวัตกรรมเครื่องจักสานไทยบรู

The objective of this research is 1) to study the participation process of the community in development. Wisdom of using bamboo from Bru Ban Tha Long, Khong Chiam District Ubon Ratchathani Province 2) To study the innovation development method from the utilization of bamboo by Ban Tha Long people, Khong Chiam District, Ubon Ratchathani Province 3) to produce a book of knowledge, wisdom, local wicker, Thai Bru. Ban Tha Long, Khong Chiam District Ubon Ratchathani Province and 4) to create innovations from Bru's bamboo to be distributed in the community and as a souvenir to tourists. This research is community research in which the researcher has integrated research methods of all 3 disciplines to apply in this research, namely 1) qualitative study 2) participatory research and 3) clinical research. Folklore The researcher chose to use research tools such as 1) In-depth Interview 2) Questionnaire 3) Record of Participatory Observation 4) Non Participant Observation to collect data from the sample. In this research, villagers were folk masters, community leaders, members of the basketry and pandanus groups.
